Throughout the Istanbul Tulip Festival, organized for the tenth time this year, Emirgan Park and Göztepe 60^th Year Park will host various events! As part of the festival scheduled until 3^rd May, tulips will once again blossom, in parks, squares, gardens and flowerpots on windowsills this spring.

The first-in-history “Tulip Carpet” will come to life at the Sultanahmet Square, containing 545 thousand tulips.

One more time and again, the tulip is embracing the people of Istanbul!

Through the pulsating events organized within the scope of the 10^th Istanbul Tulip Festival, Istanbulites will fulfill their longing for their old friends – the tulips. Local bands will offer pleasant moments to Istanbulites with live concerts at the two main event venues throughout the festival. Marbling artists will meet art lovers with their live performances. Photography and art exhibitions will be held. In short, Istanbulites will be greeting spring in a colorful and lively manner.

Not to mention the sports events awaiting Istanbulites alongside the exciting organizations… The Istanbul Tulip Cup ITF International Womens’ Tournament, becoming a tradition ever since it was first organized in 2013, continues to support the association of the tulip with sports. Istanbul will once again host the competition of remarkable athletes.

Moreover, we will experience the thrill of the Istanbul Tulip Festival Interuniversity Beach Football Tournament altogether this year. The Istanbul Tulip Festival, organized for the tenth time this year, was first organized in 2005 with the slogan, “Istanbul is Reuniting with Its Tulip!” In the past nine years, we experienced a vivacious festival with its exhibitions, symposiums, live performances, shows and award ceremonies.

The beauty of tulips will blend with the harmony of musical notes!

The 10^th Istanbul Tulip Festival, which will be hosting many exciting events, is going to become even more enjoyable with the harmony created by the notes resounding from concerts all day long. Istanbulites will pleasurably inhale the energizing spring atmosphere through the concerts of local music bands. The music bands participating in the festival will enhance the joy and fun in the events. Our traditional art of marbling will blossom into a tulip!

Art and artists have been given a significant place at the 10^th Istanbul Tulip Festival. The art of marbling, which has a unique place in our traditional arts, will come to the fore with live performances at two different spots during the festival. Therefore, our traditional art of marbling will be revived once again at the festival.
