14th International Independent Film Festival

This year, 14th International Independent Film Festival will be in İstanbul between February 11-22, 2015.

The 14th edition of !f International Independent Film Festival bring together the year’s most talked about films, get the city up on its feet at funky parties and transform your life with unique events.
Renowned for its innovative programme of films, celebrated guest directors and hands-on side events, !f Istanbul is a highlight on Turkey’s cultural calendar. This year, it runs in Istanbul February 12 -22nd, followed by Ankara and Izmir from February 26 to March 1, 2015.

!f Istanbul will treat audiences to the year’s best independent cinema with the most talked-about and award-winning films, provide a fresh alternative to Istanbul’s entertainment and nightlife with the !f Music Parties, and take film screenings to more than 30 different cities across Turkey, as well as Nicosia, Jerusalem, Ramallah, Gyumri and Yeravan through its !f ² project.

!f Istanbul will host galas for the films most celebrated at the world’s major festivals, including Toronto, Venice, Cannes and Sundance, including: Love is Strange a French-American drama directed by Ira Sachs, known for such films as Forty Shades of Blue Keep the Lights On, and featuring John Lithgow and Alfred Molina; Eden, by French Director Mia Hansen- Løve, a story which follows the rise and fall of the French DJ Paul, one of the founders of electronic music movement; Iran’s first vampire film, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, directed by Ana Lily Amipour and Tusk, an comedy horror film, written and directed by Kevin Smith and starring Johnny Depp.
