Located in Kandili, the Abud Efendi Yalı was built between 1835 -1855 by the architect Garabet Balyan. Owned by different families over the years, it was purchased by the silk and leather merchant Mehmet Abud Efendi in 1900.
Remaining in the Abud family until 1981, it was then sold to a private owner.
The two-story, wooden yalı’s interior decoration closely resembles that of Dolmabahçe, also designed by Balyan.
