History: Manisalı Food Industry is a limited liability corporation that is represented by its fourth generation with Altan Manisalı, his son Başar Manisalı and daughter Şadilal Manisalı.

Manisalı Food is the oldest company in the Aegean region and was founded bey Hacı Ahmet Efendi in Manisa in 1885. In the early years of the Turkish Republic, Hacı Ahmet Efendi’s son Ziya AHmet Manisalı opened two new factories reaching as far as İstanbul and Zonguldak, while keeping İzmir as the base, and made the company the prime institution in the Balkans and Anatolia. Unfortunately both Ziya Ahmet Manisalı and his son Suat Manisalı had premature deaths, so the other son Altan Manisalı took over the business and conducted its operation and preserved its quality to our day, as the third generation member of the family. 

In line with the increasing demand, the production was advanced and made faster with the foundation of the factory in Menderes, İzmir in the year 1990. Our company is deservedly proud of being unrivalled with its uniquely delicious products and 127 years of history. From the Ottoman times on, we have been producing sesame oil, grape molasses and halva in a hygienic environment using the latest technology and preserving the highest quality. Our primary objective is to compete with ourself, work more and do more research in order to achieve the better and the more beautiful. From generations on, our mission is to reach to customer with the understanding that the customer deserves the best of everything. The brand “Altan Manisalı” will be the reliable and trusted label in the future as it is today.
