Since 1990 II Padrino has been one of Istanbul’s most reliable addresses for fine Italian food and wine. It first opened in Caddebostan, it now has a branch in Ataşehir. Its menu is divided between three floors: on the first floor, known as Artı Kebap, kepabs and other grill items are served, on the second floor is the fine Italian cuisine, and during the summer months seafood is served on the third-floor terrace.
Open between noon and midnight, Padrino’s Italian menu offers cold and hot sandwiches, pastas, pizzas, risottos, Italian meat and chicken dishes, and a particularly sought after tiramisu.
Artı Kepap, with service on the first floor and in the restaurant’s garden during the summer months, has mezes and different kinds of kebab and other grilled meat on offer. II Padrino provides a wide selection of alcohol on each floor. It is important to make reservations in advance, particularly on weekends.
