Day 1 From Byzantium to Ottoman Era
Take a full day tour to explore Istanbul, a fascinating city straddling two continents. Visit the Blue Mosque, recognizable by its six minarets. Built between 1609 and 1616, the interior is decorated with some 21,000 blue Iznik tiles. Visit the Hippodrome, where political, cultural, and athletic activities took place during Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman times. Tour treasure-filled Topkapi Palace (15th – 19th c. residence of the Ottoman sultans) with its terraces overlooking the Marmara Sea, the Bosphorus, and the Golden Horn. End the day at the historic Grand Bazaar

Day 2 Bosphorus
In the morning, visit the imposing Hagia Sophia, which marked the apogee of Byzantine Emperor Justinian’s reign. Then cruise on the Bosporus, separating Asia from Europe and connecting the Marmara Sea to the Black Sea. Relish the best views of the city and its historic monuments. Discover beautiful marble palaces (Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi), wooden Ottoman villas (yalis), and medieval fortresses. Enjoy lunch at a seafood restaurant along the Bosphorus. In the afternoon, visit the Suleymaniye Mosque, one of the best works of the famous Ottoman architect, Sinan. Indulge yourself at the Spice Market with its exotic aromas.

Day 3 Dolmabahce Palace & The Asian
In the morning, visit Dolmabahce Palace, the sumptuous new official residence of the sultans after 1856. Cross the suspended bridge over the Bosphorus to reach the Asian side of Istanbul. Drive up to Camlica Hill where you will enjoy one of the best panoramas over the city. Lunch at Bostanci district: Kebabs & grill. Discover the residential quarters of Asian Istanbul such as Bagdat Avenue. Then visit the typical market of Kadikoy district. At the end of the day, return by boat to the Galata Bridge. Drive back to hotel.
