The Islands Museum has been bringing us the history of the Princes’ Islands since 2010. Located in a renovated portion of the old helicopter hangers in Aya Nikola Mevkii (on the Big Island), the museum hosts various exhibits, performances and workshops in its Sycamore Grove Exhibition Space (Çınar Müze Alanı).

In the Islands Museum you can see works covering the history of the Princes Islands from their formation and first settlement, to their architectural, cultural and literary importance.

With its many changing exhibitions, it an important stop to learn about and appreciate the islands.

 

From the Atatürk Airport and Taksim Take the Havataş Shuttle or public bus 96T from the Atatürk Airport to Taksim Use the Funikuler (F1) from Taksim subway station to Kabataş             Take the Ferry from Kabataş to Princes’ Islands and get off at Büyükada (Big Island)
