Salon opens its 5th season in October with a rich programme ranging from contemporary music and jazz to theatre performances. Once again, Salon is welcoming music groups from diverse genres from Turkey and other countries on its stage, hosting panel discussions and presenting theatre shows as part of the Oyun Salonu, Salon’s theatre programme. Salon, located at the entrance and first floors of İKSV headquarters in Şişhane.

Prominent names of the international jazz scene, such as Red Snapper, Kairos Quartet, Arild Andersen Trio, Submotion Orchestra, GoGo Penguin and Colin Stetson will perform at Salon in the new season.

Gevende, Gaye Su Akyol and Bubi Tuzak, Dilek Türkan, Birsen Tezer, Taksim Trio and İncesaz, Ah Kosmos, Sapan, Kaan Bulak, The Away Days from Turkey’s vibrant music scene will also be among the guests of Salon.
