Spanish singer Sílvia Pérez Cruz, who draws attention with her extraordinary voice and passionate interpretation, will be on the İş Sanat stage. From 4 to 18 years old Sílvia Pérez Cruz studied musical theory, piano and alto saxophone at the Rita Ferrer School in Palafrugell with Manuel Mañogil. Then, she studied and taught at the Alart Art School founded by her mother Glòria Cruz, from Murcia-Empordà, art historian and teacher of artistic expression. She played sax in funky, bossanova and jazz bands; sings “Nit de juny” in Italy, Hungary, France, and Norway. She sang in more than ten bands of different styles: flamenco, jazz, pop, traditional Catalan music, Iberian folklore, and South American folklore. In 2011, she finished this intense period of learning mainly as an interpreter and focused her energy on a very personal project. The desire to empty made her create the album homage to his father, called November 11. On this record, apart from singing, she arranged and co-produced, wrote and composed. For this work, she won several awards such as the International Award Terenci Moix 2012 and a Gold Record for more than 20,000 copies sold.
