Located behind the Sirkeci train station, the Bet Avraam Synagogue was founded during the 1940’s by Jews who were then living and working around Eminönü and Sirkeci. As most of the worshipers moved to Beyoğlu and Galata, its splendor gradually diminished. Today it is open by appointment only.
